Merry Christmas!

THIS WAS IT!

My last days on iceland I was so lucky to have to good friends coming visiting...one girl from Norway and a guy from Denamrk....who both live in Sweden. And we were gathered in Iceland. Nice:)

In the evening we went to hemmi & valdi for some wine and beer. And knitting:)

And later I made some dinner for my guests!!

The next morning we all gathered and took the bus to Hveragerði. We ALMOST missed the bus, ca 2 seconds more and we would have lost it...

the sun had not yet come up, but the view was NIIIICE!

not sure I know this person..... well maybe. we call him Adrien. or Cri Cri d´amour.... or just the crazy french guy. We love you:)

the ground was boiling all around us....it was surreal.

We had to cross a river, and when I got in the water and discovered that it was over bodytemperature, it was just AMAZING!! I had prepared for a shitty-cold mountain-river...

over!

And when we had walked for 15-20 minutes more, we found the place where a hot and a cold river meet, and the temperature is just PERFECT!!!! So, then it was just to undress and GET OUR ASSES IN THE WATER!

Adrien and Earthguy were very content.

I didn´t feel too bad either...:)

we also found a dog up there on the mountain...we suspect he was a local guide. Anyway, he followed us ALL the way down the mountain and into the city and the bus... then it was gone...:(

Morning after, it was time to go to church! Well, at least up in the tower...

Then, it was time for one last coffee at Kaffesmiðjan, BEST COFFEE IN TOWN! Tage was writing postcards....MANY!!!

I am tired and have no idea what I´m looking at.

we had to go to 12 tonar and listen to some good, icelandic music as well..

After the cafe, I went to the pool one last time with Bjarki and Birgitte! AHHHH HOW I WILL MISS GOING TO SUNDLAUG!!! BEST THING EVER!!
well, after boiling for one hour there, it was time for TAPAS at
Tapasbarinn to eat good food with my friends!!

wine was also included (oh what a great shock)
