Trip to England!!

Then it was time for our class to go to England and Bristol to have our exhibition there! I was looking forward to it, you could say :)
We arrived in Bristol and to our FANTASIC hotel!
We had a bathtub in our room!!! I took 4 baths in 5 days:) And thought about Iceland every time.

first night out in Bristol we went to a boat/bar called the apple! there they had fabulous cider that tasted like lemonade!! :)

cheers!!

I loved this sign. At any time

heia Volvo!!!!

When we arrived to the school and the space, we decided that it needed some work before we put up the exhibition.
Solveig was happy to paint the wall!! :)

no way to translate: ka e det slags fårete glis det her, Lena?!?!?!?

the Bergen-Bristol-group!

we spent he Sunday in Bath! very nice place with small, cosy shops!

Rings with liquid in them!!! COOOL!!!

Colours and plæstik fantastic. Lenur went bananas. But managed to avoid buying anything:)

strike a pose!

we went to "the fudge factory", and they had a A LOT of chocolate and fudge!

MMMMM!!!!

and candy in jars....my favourite;)

happy group in the bar at the school! :)

the evenings in our hotel were always cosy!

I am wondering how to present my work...

the Bristol group had been so nice to make a small text on the wall in the bar at the school...:)

and they also fed us well!

work in progress...
bad day at work, Lena...?

a part of the exchange was also to make presentations to the group about one´s work.

Runa presenting her work.

playing pool was not a part of the program, but daamn it was fun!!

Finished!

Lenur and Runis posing!

The famous street-artist Banksy is from Bristol, and he has made several pieces around in the city!

Solveig is shopping!
Runa is siiiinging in the rain!!!

Outside our hotel he morning of departure to London there stood a chair with a note on it: "please take". I wanted to, but think maybe it would have been a bit difficult to get it on the plane....? :)

After a three hour bustrip to London, we arrived to the YMCA. 12th floor, and the only thing nice about that place was the view from our room...everything else in there was just...dirty.
coffee of the day. very important.

trapped in freedom, I know what you mean....
Solveig found a sexy door:)
coolest little house

cool car

even MORE cool car:)

it did not rock....the owners were an old couple who were fighting when I came in. I left quite quickly:)

weeeeeeee!!! totally neon it was:)

evening-pictures from my room

Last day in London, and
a nun in Noting Hill

Me and Solveig headed off to Camden with he underground to spend our last hours there.

And I must say that the houses there was slighty more interesting than the ones I had seen everywhere else...which was just brown bricks, brown bricks, brown bricks.......

I found the coolest bags made of zippers. Of course I bought the pink and purple one:)
and cool clothes!!!!

Solveig is checking out the horses nose

2 for 5 pounds! JUHUUUU!!

Last picture from England in Camden. The rest of the day consisted of underground, stress, trains, flights, check-ins and check-outs, tax-free....u know how it goes.
Thanx everybody for a nice trip!!!!
