the weekend

Well, it only exists one photo from the weekend, and that is this one from friday night in the kitchen... the rest consisted of german bruspulver, wine, a whole lot of popcorn, dancing, new yorkers in the house, more dancing, eating hamburgers,idiots stealing mine and Jennicas phones and wallets, being hungover, good coffee at kaffismidjan, buying new phones, going out again....

And now Matilda has gone back to Sweden, and I said goodbye to Jennica two minutes ago, she is also leaving the country...

After writing christmas-cards and being to the swimmingpool (AGAIN), we went to a italian restaurant!

I thought that the starters seemed better than the main courses, so I ordered two of them instead:) Carpaccio with ruccola and bruschetta with pesto, tomatoes and garlic. MMMMM!!!!!

After the food we met up with Sabrina and Thomas, and we all went looking for the northern lights! It´s weird to think about how some people have never seen it and that it´s a BIG thing...:) We are quite lucky up here in the north I think! This was what I grew up with...
Well, we did not see any northern lights, but we saw Yoko Onos "Imagine Peace Tower", which is this beam of light

It was COLD!! So we tried to stick together like penguins:)

After freezing our asses off, we went to Karamba for some hot chocolate and some nice couches:)

Then it was friday again, and I had to mail my christmascards!!

And when it´s friday, we also have to stop by this place....øøh...:)

With wine safely in our bags, we went to Tiu Dropar and ate some cake!!! Check out Matildas Skyr-cake!! It was really nice!!

I also bought cake for the first time here on Iceland....Carrot-cake. Which was good, but I couldn´t finish it, so Matilda helped me out:)
And I had coke....and coffee....like every other day.
Well, I will start a new and better life when I get back....(yeah right)

Jennica also joined us after a while.

Tiu Dropar is one of the nicest cafe´s here, with teapots everywhere.....very cosy:)

Matilda is searching for cheap LP´s to take back home to Sweden, so we went to Smekkleysa also...

And now we´re going to sleep for a while before we´re going dancing tonight, it is Matildas last night....!!!! SHITT POMFRITT!!!!

Last days with the girls!!

Soon will everybody, including Matilda and Jennica leave Iceland, Reykjavik (and me!!). That means that we have now been going out, hanging out, partying, eating, drinking, DANCING, going on trips... EVERY day:) Yesterday was no exception! The party started in my room...

Matilda has her own dancing-moves that she is willing to teach the rest of us (like me) who don´t look as cool.

After hanging in Kaffibarinn, dancing with bus-drivers in Lækjartorg, checking out Bakkus and dancing in Batterid it was time to go home and eat PIZZA!! mmmmm!

Pizza from eldsmidjan is the best!!

After partying, you have to go to Babalu the next morning to get some coffee and a good couch to sit in:)

A good friend to be hungover with is also a must:)

And then it´s maybe time to go to Eymundsson and write some christmas-cards....even though it´s a bit early:)

And the day is still young.....:) Juhuuu!

Storfint besøk i helga!!

Fredag ettermiddag kom Ingrid og Hildegunn på besøk!! Etter å ha vært en snartur i sundlaug (bassenget) så for vi på tapasbarinn og spiste!!! Matilda, Sabrina og to ekstra tyskera va også med!

Etter festing fredag kveld og natt (og dermed ikke så gira på å bi foreviga i foto) bei det frokost på Tiu Dropar lørdag morra!

Påvei mot Sputnik, som er en second hand/vintage-butikk i Laugarvegur. Der fann æ forøvrig en kjempefin blå kjole!!

Videre tell neste vintage-butikk, gyllta kötturinn!

Vi venta mens Matilda prøva kjola inne på prøverommet.

Etter shopping i Laugarvegur og mat va det på tide med enda et bad i Laugardalslaug! Dit tok vi buss!

Etter lite eller null søvn fór vi avgårde søndags morran; 6 jente i en 7-seters bil og kjørte ut i den Islandske naturen!! Jennica og Matilda utgjorde baktroppen!

Første stopp va et krater, men vinden va så sterk at det va ikke mye å se!! Hovedfokuset va å hold sæ på føten!!

Man kan heller ikke fær tell Island uten å få med sæ Geysir. Flott vær, men kaldt og svært vindfullt!!

it´s a first time for everything, og dette va første gang Lenur kjørte sjuseter med AUTOMATGIR! Meget spesielt å må HUSK PÅ å ikke gjør en dritt når man kommer i kryss osv... Digg!!

Turen bei avslutta i Den Blå Lagunen idet mørket senka sæ over landet. Det va fantastisk; kaldt i lufta, klarvær, månelys og enmasse stjerne!
